This will be our fourth year that we have offered coffee from this wonderful community in Huila, Colombia. Quality continues to improve since our 2009 visit where we judged their annual competition. Growing conditions are still challenging in Colombia, but the families of Monserrate have continued their dedication to quality. We are once again impressed and humbled by their effort.

Approximately 60 families contributed to this particular lot of coffee. These families each grow and process their own coffee, which is then blended with the other families of Monserrate, a true community effort.
